Returning to the subject of the development of abilities in young kids, we asked ourselves: do kids have a congenital inclination towards music?
“New research shows babies are born to dance,” scientists from the University of York (U.K.) and University of Jyvaskyla (Finland) have discovered.
The findings of the research “suggest that babies are born with a predisposition to move rhythmically in response to music,” we read at the University of Jyvaskyla’s site.
The researchers have also discovered that “infants respond to the rhythm and tempo of music and find it more engaging than speech.”
