Internet was everywhere on February 9, 2010: Safer Internet Day was celebrated this day in at least 60 countries.
Safer Internet Day’ mission – “to promote safer and more responsible use of online technology and mobile phones, especially amongst children and young people across the world,” written on initiative website saferinternet.org. Campaign launched this year – “Think B4 U post!” – aims to help youngsters be in safe in the Internet. “Children and teenagers should be made aware that they can control their online identity,” was summed up on saferinternet.org.
